Snuggly in San Francisco

  • Three-hour sessions, 10-5pm, with an hour lunch break.
  • 30 minutes/subject, followed by 10-20 minutes Q & A.
  • There’s no wifi to be expected. WTF?!! Lame. Doubly lame considering it’s a geeky conference.
  • Tomorrow is all about podcasting.

So, I may not be able to update as often as I had hoped, but minimally I’ll post something lunch and evening. At least some photos:) In the meantime, check out more photos of the Mosser hotel.

I love the Mosser Hotel. It’s cheap and has a great location, unless your friends live afar. If you haven’t been spoiled by typical hotel faire, then the Mosser is perfectly suitable. No wifi in San Francisco? Were you in the nearby convention center? Outrageous, though there is wifi here and there when you’re away from your meeting place.

Hey Tom:) Funny you would comment this week; I just went back to SF again and stayed in the Mosser again. Just got back on Wednesday:)

Yeah, the did the GMT conference at the Zeum theater, which is part of this kid park sort of deal. The theater was excellent, except no wifi!! They had wifi, but it was locked down. Lame.

I love the Mosser. I actually think it’s pretty hip. Of course, having you’re own private bathroom would be nice, and they have that, but their rooms with a shared bath a ridiculously cheap, especially in SF. They’re kind a of cool Zen, hip, minimalist way.
